1. What is UAE Visit Visa?
UAE Visit Visa permits a traveller to stay in UAE for 90 days from the time of arrival in UAE. The traveller needs to get an invitation letter from his relative in UAE along with their proof of residence to apply for Visit Visa. The visa processing time is between 4 – 5 working days (excluding Friday & Saturday). The visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issue.
2. What documents are required to apply for a UAE Visa?
The traveller requires to submit the below listed documents for UAE Visa:
- Copy of return air ticket.
- A scanned copy of traveller’s first and last page of the passport.(Passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of travel)
- Traveller’s passport-size photograph, taken against a white background.
3. What is ‘OK To Board’?
Most International airlines flying to Dubai or Sharjah airport requires an “OK to Board” confirmation from the visa agency before they allow a passenger to board the aircraft. Hapigo team updates the airline with an “OK to Board” note post confirmation of the Visa by UAE Embassy.
4. Can I get VISA on Arrival ?
If your country of nationality appears on the list below, no advance visa arrangements are required to visit the UAE.

5. Can I get physical visa stamped on my passport ?
The UAE Embassy does not issue visas on ordinary passports.Tourist visa for an Indian National, holding an ordinary passport, is arranged by a sponsor in UAE. It can also be obtained on booking a hotel in UAE or through the Emirates Airlines Office or the Air Arabia Office or through a Travel Agent.
6. How will I know the status of my UAE visa Application ?

7. How do I cancel my UAE visa application ?
Once you have submitted your application for UAE Visa & made the payment, it cannot be cancelled.
8. What are the reasons for Rejection of UAE Visa ?
When applying for UAE visa the below mentioned reasons are the most common ones why UAE visa gets rejected or disapproved.
- Female applicants below 22 years who are not accompanied by their parents or relatives might receive rejection or delay of approval in the UAE visa application.
- Applying for visa in UAE with unskilled profession stated in the passport such as labourer, farmer or service might get rejected.
- Applicants with previous criminal offence, fraud or misconduct committed are blacklisted in the UAE Immigration and hence will be rejected automatically.
- Applicant who has previously received a UAE visa but did not enter UAE. In such cases, the new UAE visa application might get rejected as the previous UAE visa needs to be cancelled first. In order to get an approval for the new UAE visa application, the PRO of the applied travel agency or sponsor must go to the UAE Immigration to clear the previous UAE visa application. The UAE tourist visa gets expired within 60 days.
- If any applicants applied for a UAE Employment visa by any company in UAE but did not enter the country then a new tourist or visit visa cannot be applied.
